Over the past couple of months, teaching The Soul of Money with Michelle – I was once again reminded of how the wisdom of Lynne Twist, shared in this amazing book, literally transformed my life.

Recognizing the limiting and erroneous beliefs that define our social/cultural mindset, namely:

There’s never enough; 

More is better; and 

That’s just the way it is.

And choosing to replace them with life-affirming beliefs is the foundation of having life abundantly:

There is always sufficiency to our needs; 

Better comes from quality not quantity; and

We create our reality through the thoughts we hold in mind.

But beyond that – reading The Soul of Money again has made me realize there is so much more to understand and integrate, and so much potential for even greater transformation as we recognize how our thoughts and assumptions continue to limit our perspectives about what is possible and desirable.

It is calling me to go deeper into what Jesus meant by having life abundantly (clearly, he wasn’t referring to “storing up treasures on earth”), and how we might begin to genuinely believe in and imagine/vision a world that works for all.

I invite you to join me in reflecting on what “having life abundantly” means to you…and what “a world that works for all” might look like…as we open our hearts and minds to not only transform our lives – but to Be the Change we want to see in the world.
